There are pros and cons regarding global warming among scientists. Scientists who think global warming exists say recent climate change is primarily due to man’s burning of fossil fuels – oil, coal and natural gas. This release CO2 into the atmosphere and, they believe, this might eventually dangerously heat the planet. On the other hand, scientists who don’t regard this situation as especially serious problem say there are many reasons why the climate changes – the sun, clouds, oceans and the orbital variations of the earth, but, they think there would not be vital effect on the earth because the climate is always changing up until now and from now on.

    The assignment was to _personalize_ the perspectives by putting yourself into the shoes of the people whose perspective you were trying to understand. That's why it was supposed to be done in the 1st person. What you wrote above are actually two different perspectives. It would have been better to develop each of them separately and to show, from the 1st period perspective, what observations and scientific research support the differing views. That would help you (and your audience) to deepen their understanding of the issue.

    You were to follow this example: http://vegetarianjodias.blogspot.com/2011/04/welcome-to-world-of-vegetarianism.html . The videos you chose that explained the two perspectives were appropriate and you cited them well in APA style.

Perspective from national people in the U.S.  posted by Junya Many national people in the U.S. believe in global warming according to an interview in a street. There are some reasons why they think global warming is really progressing. For example, there is scientifically valid proof that global warming exists and it’s getting hotter and colder in Georgia like there never really snowed the way people have seen in the past two years as of 2014, so climate change is really occurring. In addition to such opinions, there is an opinion that climate change and global warming are created by the activities of human. Answers to the 15 questions (NO.9-No.12) Posted by Aoi Q9. Can we delay global warming? A9. The articles said “Yes”. If we make a great effort, we might be able to even stop global warming. It should be required to pay attention to 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Especially, cutting emissions is very effective. I wondered what I could do after I read the articles. When I wash my face, I sometimes keep water running. When I leave my room, I don’t turn off the light. These are the waste of resources, so I thought that I should use resources more frugally. As for Reuse, I thought it was a good idea to use my own chopsticks as much as possible. In Japan, we often use wooden chopsticks, which are called “Waribashi”. Every time we buy some food at a convenience store, we get them. That is very wasteful. So, I’ll try to use less “Waribashi”.
