When we try to answer the question “What is the effect on sea surface elevation?”, I selected two sources, one was the website of “SCIENCE CONNECTION BETWEEN SEA LEVEL RISE AND GLOBAL WARMING”, and the other was the website of “Sea Level Rise”. From the first source, I learned that global warming is the significant cause of current sea surface elevation and this trend will continue in the future. Since temperatures are rising, at the same time oceans are warming and ice is melting. As a result, sea level is rising these days.
Because there are lot of pictures used in this article and the details are written with descriptive explanation, I can trust the information provided.
From the second source, I found out that as sea level has risen recently, even a small rise of sea surface can have devastating effects on coastal habitats. When sea water enters the interior, it can have a lot of damage such as erosion flooding and soil contamination and, as a result, lost habitat for creatures on the earth. Because the information of this article is managed by a company, National Graphics, and this article is simply written about sea level rise, I can trust the information provided.
In conclusion, toward the question “What is the effect on sea surface elevation?”, we can say that sea surface elevation is occurring and continues to occur in the future, and because of that, it will have some effects on creatures.

Perspective from national people in the U.S.  posted by Junya Many national people in the U.S. believe in global warming according to an interview in a street. There are some reasons why they think global warming is really progressing. For example, there is scientifically valid proof that global warming exists and it’s getting hotter and colder in Georgia like there never really snowed the way people have seen in the past two years as of 2014, so climate change is really occurring. In addition to such opinions, there is an opinion that climate change and global warming are created by the activities of human.
